“We are all so much together, but we are all dying of loneliness.”
― Albert Schweitzer
We all need it, no matter how much of a loner or how introverted we are.
The way we communicate today relies less upon true connection, and more upon the “in passing” connection. The problem with this is that “moments” are missed.
Moments that allow for brainstorming, processing, sharing, giving and receiving.
So here’s a call to “rise above the noise” today - make space for connecting.
Notice the people around you today, the people you pass in passing…instead of looking down at your phone trying to squeeze in one more email or checking your feed (I’m just as guilty), put it all away and make space for walking around throughout your day, really noticing the people around you.
What do they need? What are they saying but not saying? How can you help them? Or how can you just connect with them?
At the end of the day, take 5 and reflect on those “moments” that were created and how they filled you up. These moments breathe life into you - they create energy and vigor for new ideas that actually become fuel for your business, movement, non-profit, or family.
BOOM.
There’s the connection - it’s really incredible how this is all tied together - I’m continuously blown away at how these underlying dynamics become game changers when it comes to thriving in life and business.
